With 30 years of delivering marketleading repairs refurbishment fire safety and building maintenance services Mears is trusted to deliver in excess of 6000 housing repairs daily to a portfolio of more thanhomes nationwide.
About the role:
As a Multi Skilled Operative you will be assisting with site preparation and cleanup handling materials safely and supporting skilled tradespeople in retrofit activities. You will be expected to conduct repairs including supporting works around retrofit/energy measures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintaining high work quality and attention to detail is crucial as is collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines. Youll report issues to the site supervisor participate in site meetings and take initiative in tasks. Providing excellent customer care working at heights and processing tasks electronically using a PDA are also key aspects of the role. Professional communication and maintaining high standards of health and safety are essential to ensure a positive customer experience.
Key Criteria:
- Core trade in plumbing and additional trades in painting and decorating.
- UK driving licence
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
