Job Description
- Follow and adhere to the Corporate Compliance Program along with all HIPAA guidelines.
- You are responsible for the receiving and processing of laboratory specimens and requisitions. You will enter requisitions data into the online database and label the specimens.
- Organize medical supply kits
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficient computer and typing skills
- Meet established metrics and quality measures to ensure timely and accurate results
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a protective laboratory setting
- Ability to work with coworkers clients and hospital staff effectively
- Willingness to adapt to a fastpaced high volume everchanging environment
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- High school diploma required.
- Some safety risks when doing analysis
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Some prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
