Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Medical Laboratory Scientist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Tuba City AZ 86045
Assignment Start Date: 8/25/2025
13 weeks Days 10-hour shift 40 hours per week

Please get in touch with a recruiter for full details.The medical Laboratory Scientist performs specimen processing testing and reporting of test results in compliance with regulatory requirements policy and procedures and the hospitals goal of providing quality patient care. The position is located in a laboratory that provides sub-specialties of service in a hospital setting: chemistry hematology coagulation urinalysis phlebotomy blood bank microbiology and clinical microscopy. The laboratory provides 24-hour coverage and the incumbent works rotational day evening or night shifts weekends holidays and occasional overtime.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Must have one (1) year documented bench experience in each specialty of clinical high complexity testing.
Education:
- A bachelors degree in a laboratory chemical physical biological science Allied Health Healthcare or Healthcare Management related field. 35 hours of coursework across various subjects related to clinical laboratory sciences such as biological science microbiology organic chemistry biochemistry and mathematics.
Licenses Certifications and Registration:
- Medical Laboratory Science certification from a nationally recognized certification agency must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
- Must have ASCP/AMT Certifications.
EMR System: Allscripts experience preferred
Shift: Weekend Shift Friday - Monday 6 am - 5 pm
Orientation: Every two (2) weeks only.
COVID Exemptions: We do not accept religious exemptions. If a candidate submits for a medical exemption we will have to get approval from our medical review board to proceed with onboarding
Housing: must be submitted 2 weeks before the start date
