As an Associate Lecturer in Anatomic Pathology at the Melbourne Veterinary School youll play a vital role in educating veterinary students and providing diagnostic services. Youll have the opportunity to contribute to innovative teaching methods engage in collaborative research projects and perform comprehensive postmortem examinations on a diverse range of animal species. Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver Engaging Veterinary Education: Conduct tutorials practical demonstrations and contribute to curriculum development in anatomic pathology and related fields.
• Contribute to Research Activities: Collaborate on research projects present at conferences and pursue funding opportunities to support scholarly activities.
• Provide Expert Diagnostic Services: Perform postmortem examinations conduct histological analyses and prepare comprehensive reports for a variety of animal species.
• Engage in Professional Development: Work towards specialist qualifications and actively participate in continuing education events and quality assurance programs.

You may be a great fit if:

You are a qualified veterinarian with experience in teaching and diagnostic pathology possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment.

You may also:

• Hold a veterinary degree registrable in Victoria.
• Have proven experience in providing effective and innovative teaching to veterinary students.
• Possess demonstrated experience in conducting postmortem examinations.
• Have welldeveloped interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrate highlevel organisational and time management skills.
• Show interest or experience in scholarly approaches to learning and teaching.
