The Manager ATI will manage and lead a technical team to develop support and maintain assigned applications. They will work closely with Functional Leads other Managers Directors VPs and sometimes directly with business owners to promote the effective operation of the overall department and to resolve issues as well as suggest new processes and systems in support thereof.
This person is responsible for one or all stages of system development implementation testing and problem resolution often including minor enhancements fixes and upgrades. The Manager ATI is responsible and accountable for design code verification testing and/or implementation by development members. They are responsible for technical specification design and system architecture ensuring the ongoing integrity of these systems at increasing scale.
What Youll Do
- Engages with business owners ATI counterparts and project delivery team members to understand clarify and document objectives and success factors for solutions in support of company strategic objectives.
- Manages the global design of solution architecture artifacts and policies to improve predictability and efficiency of operations and the solution delivery process.
- Leverages existing technical standards to design solutions for projects. Provides ownership of those designs for the lifespan of the application.
- Provides technical guidance in ensuring optimal and implementation.
- Ensures proper code and design reviews are conducted.
- Ensures proposed solutions are fully tested as appropriate before delivery.
- Provides updates guidance and recommendations related to technology solutions and projects to staff impacted ATI teams Corp Services/Protiviti business teams and Sr. ATI Management.
- Manages application analyses requirements/design development testing deployment and support.
- Collaborates and consults with ATI Leadership managers and business owners to provide support during the solution delivery and application support phases managing enhancements maintenance priorities and tradeoffs as applicable.
- Manages application operations and maintenance.
- Partners with and obtains feedback from technical discipline owners and experts to maintain a clear understanding and awareness of current technical standards and direction; provides feedback on standards based on project experiences and user needs.
- Performs resource planning aligned to current approved and prioritized efforts.
- Leads/ensures estimation efforts identifies resource needs for work ensures skilled resources are available when required manages work to available capacity.
- Ensures resources are properly trained.
- Ensures budgets and schedules are realistically set and attained.
- Recommends and implements changes to methods and practices.
- Responsible for personnel actions including hiring onboarding firing promotion development discipline and employee compensation.
- Provides coaching guidance mentoring to direct reports and next level down where and when appropriate.
- Leads effective collaboration not only in immediate team but also with other IT teams verticals dev team and business partners to improve efficiencies and support quality deliverables.
- Monitors the collaborative process and makes adjustments as needed.
- Understands and manages department and Robert Half personnel practices/policies; keeps direct reports and staff updated on general Corporate information.

- Collaborates with management of Production/Operations teams in addressing production issues.
- Establishes Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensures that all applications that are running in various environments meet or exceed stated SLAs.
- Ensures optimal cost of operations proposing next gen updates to the architecture as warranted.
- Ensures proper code and design reviews are conducted for enhancements.
- Proposes and evaluates new initiatives; providing and responding to feedback.
- Manages oncall support for production systems on a rotating schedule.
What Youll Need
- Bachelors degree in ITrelated field or equivalent years of experience.
- Demonstrated leadership of peers in a fastpaced Global IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with IT tools and technologies required by the unit as well as IT processes and methodologies. Most ATI management roles will include at least some aspects of:
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems quickly.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Experienced in full lifecycle software development including analysis design development testing and implementation.
- Understanding of objectoriented analysis and design techniques.
- Ability to create project software design functional architecture or other related artifacts.
- Familiarity with process modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of process definition and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of Cloud Server Networking modern operating system provisioning.
- Ability with passion for selflearning to remain current with emerging new technologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps processes CICD implementations and software and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of Technical and Deskside support processes.
- Understanding of endpoint monitoring and support tools (examples: backup vpn antivirus patching and encryption).
- Command of standard Office suite particularly Microsoft Excel or an alternate reporting tool.
- Strong knowledge of and demonstrated practice in customer service business acumen IT infrastructure technologies enduser experience and technology project delivery preferred.
- Must be able to work in a highly dynamic and fastpaced environment.
- Must be able to work independently and apply good judgment.
- Must be able to work within a team both as a leader and as a team member.
- Must be able to analyze circumstances or data that require evaluation of a variety of factors including an understanding of current business trends.

- Strong working relationships with staff and ATI Leadership (VPs Directors Sr. Managers and Managers) as well as Business Teams and Leadership (Corp and Front Office).

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
