Job Description

Whatyou would be doing:

As thewoundcarenurseor Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurse (WOCN)you wouldplay a critical role on our care team. You wouldcoordinate implement provide careand monitor the wound ostomy skin and continence programs within thefacility. In addition to working with our residents leadership teamand quality committees you will also workalongsideour charge nurses andCNAs to monitorcoach and educate on care and documentation practices.

Whatyourwork schedulewould be:

You would typically work a MondayFriday schedule with the flexibility to be available to meet on demand resident needs.

Thesuccessfulcandidate:

  • Must have a current state license to practiceNursing in the State of Michigan preferably a registered nurse RNwith experience in skin and wound management.Alicensedpracticalnurse LPN with twoyears experiencein skin and wound managementis alsowelcometoapply.

  • Preferably hasWOCN Certification.

  • Has excellent knowledge of Infection Control processes.
