Job Description
Job Title: Social Worker (Children)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Rate: 222 per day
Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a busy team in Newcastle upon Tyne based within the Children with Disabilities Team.
Responsibilities:
As a CWD (Children with Disabilities) Social Worker your primary responsibilities will include managing a mixed caseload of Child Protection Child in Need and Looked After Children with additional needs. You will work collaboratively with partner agencies putting in place and reviewing care packages and completing Children and Family Assessments as well as Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP). Your role will involve working alongside SEND Coordinators and Special Educational Needs Schools. Additionally you will have generic safeguarding responsibilities including conducting risk assessments and completing Single Assessments

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK license
- Postqualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
