The Role
As the Engineering Manager at HashiCorp you will build and lead a highperforming team to achieve our vision of an enterpriseready product across cloud and selfmanaged offerings. You will drive Engineering to deliver on feature requests and enhance functionality. This role will require productive collaboration with Design Product and other crossfunctional partners to innovate toward true productmarket fit.
What youll do (responsibilities)
- Recruit mentor and lead a diverse and highperforming engineering team. Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- Drive the team to deliver on feature requests enhancing the products capabilities.
- Expand and enhance features ensuring it remains a key differentiator for product.
- Work closely with Design Product and other crossfunctional teams to align on product vision and deliver innovative solutions.
- Develop and refine robust processes to ensure high availability scalability and reliability of product.
- Prioritize and address customer issues and feedback continuously improving the customer experience.
What youll need (basic qualifications)
- At least 10 years of engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years in a management role. Experience leading diverse product engineering teams is highly preferred.
- Strong background in cloud services and infrastructure. Proficiency in Go and familiarity with other programming languages (Python Ruby) are beneficial.
- Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and team success.
- Proven track record of building and leading highperforming teams in a fastpaced environment. #LIHybrid
