Job Description
We are excited to be adding a welder to the Beall Team. Our welder position utilizes and implements acquired welding knowledge experience and skill to weld aluminum material manufacturing parts and products for the tractor trailer industry. We are looking for experienced welders to welcome to the Beall Family. Mig and Tig experience a plus or combination of one or the other.
Please note that shift hours are Mon Fri 5am 1:30pm with opportunity of additional overtime.
Wage Range: Tier I $22.50 $25.25
Tier II $24.50 $29.25
Tier III $27.50 $33.25

What you will do:
- Perform and abide by safety policies and procedures while welding and performing other related task assignments
- Perform daily custom build fit/up and welding assignments
- Review specification documentation and information related to assignments to ensure products are manufactured to customer specifications and Bealls quality standards
- Keep work area clean and organized during and at the end of the shift
- Organize and restock parts and materials
- Communicate with supervisors/managers issues of concern and any other pertinent information that affect safety and the productive completion of quality products and schedule of products
- Perform assignment of work to contribute to material parts and products produced according to MACs quality and quantity standards while supporting a safe work environment
- Any other duties assigned
Who you are:

- Demonstrated ability to successfully perform basic math and measurement functions
- Demonstrated ability to read understand and comprehend job specifications measurements and/or detailed drawings
- Oral comprehension and expression skills to listen to and understand information and ideas presented verbally and then effectively communicate the information and ideas verbally
- Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
- Ability to communicate abide by verify and logically respond to safety policies procedures and concerns
- Ability to work any shift based on production need
- Ability to work assigned shift and/or extended shift hours
- Ability to work alone or with a team
- Ability to find transportation to and from work
Education and/or Experience
- Experience or knowledge in tractor trailer building is preferred
- Experience in a manufacturingrelated field is preferred
- Mechanical experience is preferred
- Mechanical proficiency is preferred
- Proficiency in Steel and Aluminum MIG Welding is preferred
- Must pass companyapproved weld test (experienced welders only)
Physical Demands
- Ability to use close vision
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp manipulate or assemble very small objects
- Ability to quickly move your hand your hand together with your arm or your two hands to grasp manipulate or assemble objects
- Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position
- Ability to physically inspect own work and perform work in various positions
- Ability to push pull and lift various materials including aluminum steel and parts
- Ability to work from a ladder and heights
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Position Tiers:
- Tier 1: Employees in this tier are new to the position. Employee is under direct supervision as they learn the skills and duties of the position.
- Tier 2: Employees in this position have developed the skills required to perform the job. There is supervisor involvement checking completed work for quality.
- Tier 3: Employees in this position have mastered the skills required to perform the job. The individual does not need direct supervision and is responsible for training new employees in the department.
