Job Description
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Villanova University has an opening for a tenuretrack faculty position in thermalfluids science. We invite applications from outstanding candidates with expertise in all areas of thermalfluids science including but not limited to renewable and sustainable energy biomedical engineering and advanced manufacturing applications. The integration of artificial intelligence into research plans is a plus. The appointment begins in August 2024. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order. Duties And Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include developing a vibrant funded research program collaborating nationally and internationally and with faculty in our core strength area of thermalfluids science mentoring doctoral masters and undergraduate research students teaching and developing thermalfluids undergraduate and graduate courses contributing to the modernization of the thermalfluids curriculum and engaging in impactful service.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required along with a proven ability for high quality research and a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and innovation.
