Our radiology department is looking for a Radiology Extern to assist in providing topnotch care to our Patients. You will be responsible for guiding them through the process and assisting wherever you would be needed.
WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas 8200 Walnut Hill Ln Dallas TX 75231
WORK HOURS: PRN Rotating shifts as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Currently enrolled in a nationally Accredited Educational Program in Radiology required (I.E. JCERT) AND
Have successfully completed 1 one semester in a nationally Accredited Educational Program in Radiology required (I.E. JCERT)
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Prepares room for examination (i.e. suction oxygen supplies) to ensure radiology suite is in working order and ready to use to reduce patient risk.
Creates CDs for patient exams to provide accurate patient information.
Collects proper dosages of imaging contrast media (medication) under the direction of the Radiographer
Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently under the direct supervision of the Radiographer.
