About You and The Role
Were searching for a dynamic Site Launch Leader to join our Business Operations team who can drive the rapid and efficient rollout of our nextgeneration Platform 2 (P2 infrastructure across the U.S. This isnt your typical launch role. Youll own the endtoend processfrom initial construction and integration to operational readiness and performance handoff. In this broad highimpact position youll build the scalable playbook that powers our expansion ensuring every new site is set up to exceed expectations.
This is a highvisibility highownership role with significant room for growth. Youll be at the center of one of Ziplines most important strategic initiatives with a clear path to leadership in operations strategy systems deployment or global expansion.
This position is based in South San Francisco CA and will require up to 50 travel across the U.S. in the first few months as you gain traction with onsite visits regarding our deployment processes.
What Youll Do
- Lead EndtoEnd Deployments: Oversee the full lifecycle of new P2 site launches from ground prep to golive.
- Build Scalable Processes: Develop refine and iterate on a launch playbook that sets the standard for speed quality and costefficiency.
- Coordinate Across Teams: Work closely with Engineering Operations Product and Business Development to remove obstacles and ensure seamless integration.
- Solve in Real Time: Tackle ontheground challenges as they arise making fast informed decisions to keep launches on track.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance metrics identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to enhance future site deployments.
- Adapt and Innovate: Embrace a broad generalist approach by taking on diverse challenges and adapting strategies as new delivery models (like urban rooftops and multifamily dwellings) emerge.
What Youll Bring
- 8 years of experience leading complex crossfunctional deployments in tech logistics infrastructure or hardware.
- A proven track record of building systems and processes that scale efficiently.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to communicate clearly prioritize effectively and execute under pressure.
- A comfort with ambiguity and a proactive outcomedriven mindset.
- Experience in engineering operations or program management (a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is preferred).
- Willingness and ability to travel frequentlyup to 50 in the early stagesto manage onsite operations and team coordination.
What Else You Need to Know
This is an onsite role in South San Francisco.
The starting cash range for this role is $160000 $200000. Please note that this is a target starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors including a specific candidates experience qualifications skills working location and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
