Deputy Nursery Manager

Up tohours per week

Our client a wellestablished and nurturing early years service is seeking a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional to play a key role in shaping young minds in a setting that values creativity learning and child development.

As Deputy Nursery Manager you will support the Nursery Manager in leading a team of committed educators ensuring the highest standards of care and education. With beautifully designed rooms and a warm inviting atmosphere the service provides a rich learning environment where children thrive. Outdoor play is a key part of the setting with a range of engaging activities tailored to different age groups.

What Were Looking For

  • A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for creating a positive childcentred learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daytoday management of the nursery ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and policies.
  • Lead mentor and support a team of practitioners to deliver exceptional childcare and learning experiences.
  • Work closely with families to foster strong relationships and ensure each childs individual needs are met.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of a broad and stimulating curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe inclusive and engaging environment that promotes childrens wellbeing and development.
  • Support the Nursery Manager with administrative tasks including staff scheduling and performance management.
