Job Description
RPO Recruitment is currently hiring a dedicated and detailoriented Merchandise Allocator for our client in Durban. As a Merchandise Allocator you will play a vital role in ensuring the right products are in the right stores at the right time maximizing sales and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Allocate merchandise to stores based on sales forecasts and store requirements.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the buying and planning teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor store inventory levels and make adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate with the distribution team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
- Conduct regular store visits to gather feedback and make recommendations for improvement.
- Previous experience as a merchandise allocator in the retail industry.
- Matric
- 3 5 years in an allocator role
- Proficient in MS Office Excel
- Proficient in Dolfin
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in merchandise allocation software.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work well in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
