Job Description

  • Full Time Fixed Term Contract
  • 80 hours per fortnight Inclusive of ADO accrual

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute subacute aged care and community services. NHW is seeking applications from Occupational Therapists who are team focused enthusiastic and interested in pursuing opportunities to diversify and enhance their skills within a growing allied health team.

The grade one therapist will participate in our rotational program which includes; acute (medical/surgical) inpatient rehabilitation and community services six months rotations which are supported by a senior Grade 2 therapist. We provide regular supervision grade one peer support new graduate allied health program and prioritise internal and external professional development opportunities.

The Grade 1 OT will work with a collaboration of clients their families and multidisciplinary staff both across the organisation and with external service providers and actively participate in supervision and continuing professional development.
