Job Description

We are seeking an early years professional who

  • is a specialist in long day care someone who speaks fluent infant & toddler and in the next breath can respond to complicated science and technology questions for kindergarteners and who knows how to extinguish a volcano!
  • who knows their early years pedagogy and knows what excellence looks like and who
  • wants to see exemplary practice every day and is invested in facilitating positive change and impact.

We are seeking an early years professional (we call them Area Managers) to join our leadership team and support a small number 5 at the moment) of wellestablished early learning services located in Flemington Footscray Richmond Whittlesea and Carrum Downs.

You would be joining a forpurpose organisation who is committed to providing highquality early childhood education that sparks curiosity creativity and a love of learning in young children.

The role

  • full time and permanent
  • has Hybrid working arrangements hands on in centres and working from home
  • reports to our Head of Early Learning extraordinaire with further support from our outstanding Quality & Practice Marketing Finance and People teams
  • collaborates with a team of Area Managers with sessional kindergarten services
  • will provide for $120000 per annum plus car allowance as well as being eligible for notforprofit salary packaging
  • will allow for you to bring youre AGame a proven track record of achieving results in quality and operational environments working in a supportive collaborative team.

  • Have early learning leadership/Area Management experience with a track record of success in meeting enrolments staffing financial and quality goals
  • get great feedback on your ability to mentor and coach Centre Directors to meet the needs of their families children staff and communities
  • have people describe you as positive energetic and great to work with
  • are seeking a career pathway within a leading Early Learning team
  • have tertiary qualifications with a minimum requirement for Diploma ECEC
