Job Description
KEY SELLING POINTS

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Trades Assistant (TA) to join our dynamic team in Wangara Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a Mechanical TA background or for someone eager to start a career in the mechanical side of civil construction working with mobile plant.
WHAT YOU REQUIRE
- Forklift ticket.
- Full car licence
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Clear communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Willingness to be part of a team
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The role will include but not be limited to the following;
- Conducting prestart checks on workshop forklifts and utility
- Picking up and delivering parts
- Sorting and moving parts within the workshop
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area in the workshop and associated areas
- Assisting workshop staff as needed
- Performing highpressure cleaning of Ertech plant and equipment in the wash bay
- Basic mechanical duties dependent on ability and assisting Tradesmen
- Performing yard duties and operating the forklift as directed
