Description

Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs is seeking a parttime Main Cage Cashier to play a crucial role in the financial operations of the casino. This position involves handling large sums of money ensuring the accuracy of all transactions and maintaining the integrity of the casinos financial records.



Responsibilities
  • Issue banks to employees.
  • Verify and reconcile employee drops.
  • Count and balance cash transactions accurately.
  • Follow all gaming regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain cage security.
  • Reconcile daily cash balances.
  • Assist with other cage operations as needed.


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in cash handling preferably in a casino environment.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and often demanding environment.
  • Ability to work in a casino environment which may include exposure to secondhand smoke and crowd noise.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
