Job Overview
Kalinga University is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Professor in Forensic Science and Psychology. The role is based in Raipur and is a fulltime position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching research and curriculum development. They should be able to mentor students and engage in academic writing and public speaking.
Qualifications and Skills
- Teaching experience in Forensic Science and Psychology (Mandatory skill).
- Proven research capabilities in relevant fields (Mandatory skill).
- Experience in curriculum development (Mandatory skill).
- Ability to mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Strong academic writing skills for publishing research papers and articles.
- Excellent public speaking abilities for lectures and seminars.
- Ability to engage in critical thinking for problemsolving and research design.
- Effective time management skills to balance teaching research and administrative responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality lectures and laboratory sessions in Forensic Science and Psychology.
- Develop and update curricula to reflect current research and industry standards.
- Supervise and guide student research projects and theses.
- Publish original research in reputable journals and present findings at academic conferences.
- Mentor students academically and professionally providing guidance and support.
- Engage in collaborative research with colleagues and other institutions.
- Participate in departmental meetings committees and other university activities.
- Contribute to the development of new academic programs and initiatives.
