Job Description
We are seeking a Clinical Lab Technologist for a fulltime evening position in New York.
The role involves performing routine and emergency tests on blood urine and other body fluids using both automated and manual instrumentation.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience maintaining equipment and records ensuring compliance with QA and QC standards and solving technical and procedural issues.
Position Highlights:
- Shift: Evening 4:00 PM 12:30 AM) coverage every other weekends
- Responsibilities:
- Perform tests using various automated and manual equipment
- Monitor specimen processing to ensure timely completion
- Review and report data including abnormal and critical results
- Maintain quality control records and resolve any QC failures
- Prepare reagents and monitor inventory levels
- Perform tests using various automated and manual equipment

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a physical science or medical technology preferred
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or limited permit required
- Familiarity with laboratory and hospital information systems
