Advertising is a strategic bet for Amazon and is one of the fastest growing business units within Amazon India. This role is a part of GCS Growth Customer Sales in India Advertising team. Sponsored Ads (SA) enable advertisers to drive visibility amongst shoppers as they search and browse product pages. We are innovating to improve these products in terms of creative formats landing page options relevance for better shopper experience and performance for advertisers.
We are looking for a handson and detailoriented Senior Tech Business Developer for scaling SA adoption unblocking revenue through yield projects via product/policy changes influencing product roadmap by representing the voice of customer and presenting IN needs.
Key job responsibilities
Define the metrics and goals for Objectivebasedselling via SA to achieve inyear activations revenue and align goals for marketing and sales team
Make SA easy to adopt for advertiser by improving products value proposition through proofpoints/casestudies/strategies freeclick incentives and creating enablers to reduce barriers (e.g. creative assets) through programs agency partners and selfserve tools.
Make sales more effective by educating and assessing product knowledge empowering through easy to action insights via improving existing tools. Sync with WW GTM teams to leverage existing content and export new insights to WW.
Define and iterate roles and responsibility across sales and marketing for new initiatives and drive urgency if status quo is not helping deliver outcomes.
Launch WW extensions in IN working with WW product basis GTM playbook. Drive urgency to advance launch for IN if it is critical for IN.
Represent voice of customer for feedback on strategic new product/features across SA deviations in critical metrics and new asks explaining problem/need and tentative impact.
Unblock significant adrevenue in shortterm by identifying supply/targeting gaps including benchmarking metrics with WW and ICs. Drive resolution by working with policy and product orgs.
6 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
MBA
Experience in responding to requests for proposals (e.g. determining requirements matching requirements to approach and solutions developing solutions against requirements) experience
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience identifying negotiating and executing complex legal agreements
Experience in working with product teams to build requirement documents user stories customer feedback led insights.
Knowledge of SQL to selfgenerate data (good to have)
