JOB Quality Manager
LOCATION Oxfordshire
TERM Permanent
SALARY 45000 60000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are looking for a Quality Manager on a permanent basis in the Oxfordshire area with experience in the mechanical manufacturing Industry. Your main duty will be to Manage the Quality Engineering Team in the daytoday running of the Quality Management System as well as being hands on with solving any Quality Engineering issues. This could also be well suited for a Senior Quality Engineer looking to step up.
The Quality Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience.
- Previous experience as a Quality Manager within regulated manufacturing.
- Must have previous experience of working with either AS9100 ISO13485 IATF16949 Nuclear or similar Quality Management System.
- Working experience of quality methods such as 5S LEAN and Continuous Improvement.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Be selfmotivated and have a positive attitude
- Good problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of precision machining milling fabrication welding or similar mechanical manufacturing processes advantageous.
- Exposure to Aerospace / AS9100 extremely beneficial.
The Quality Manager role will involve:
- Managing the Quality Engineering team day to day.
- Ensuring all products meet the required quality standards.
- Help with implementation of new Quality Systems and overseeing audit processes.
- Liaising with Supplier to ensure they are meeting quality standards
- Training and Supporting the current Quality Team.
