We are seeking a passionate and experienced Oral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Aboriginal health and a desire to work collaboratively with our community to deliver highquality Dental care. Will be required to work in Smile Squad and in the clinic.

GEGAC is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation based in Bairnsdale Victoria. Consisting of about 160 staff GEGAC is a NotforProfit organisation that delivers holistic services in the areas of Primary Health Social Services Elders & Disability and Early Childhood Education.
GEGAC advocates for the selfdetermination of the Aboriginal community by prioritising services that enhance social emotional and spiritual wellbeing with culture at the heart of everything we do.
Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to provide an integrated quality efficient and effective clinical care within the scope of the Dental Practice Act and Regulations through expert clinical skills leadership and management. The position will also provide direct patient care in accordance with GEGAC clinical standards and policies to ensure the provision of high quality and efficient dental services
Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to carry out a range of dental treatments.
Thorough understanding and absolute commitment to the principles and practices of infection control regulations and procedures.
Demonstrated commitment to and use of appropriate ethical standards and behaviours.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
Sound demonstrable knowledge of MS Outlook MS Office (including Word Excel PowerPoint) and Internet Explorer.
Welldeveloped written and oral communication skills.
Ability to liaise effectively with clients community groups other employees and external agencies.
Ability to negotiate and gain cooperation and support from others in a team environment.
Willingness to support team members and work as part of a cohesive team across GEGAC.
Qualifications and Registrations Requirement (Essential or Desirable).
