Job Description
Tidewell Hospice a member of Empath Health in beautiful Southwest Florida is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for patients at Empath Health Hospice Houses.
8a8:30p; Week 1: Thursday/Saturday; Week 2: Sunday/Saturday

As a valued member of our healthcare team they play a vital role in delivering highquality patient care and improving the overall wellbeing of our patients. We are committed to supporting our CNAs in their important work and providing them with the resources and recognition they deserve.
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse the CNA provides personal and basic medical care services within the plan of care for patients within the CNA scope of practice and to enhance patient and family comfort.
The hospice CNA:
- Is responsible for overall care of the patient from basic personal care like bathing and grooming to household tasks that assist the primary caregiver.
- Educates the patient and primary caregiver about personal care patient positioning and daily living.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current CPR certification required
- One year of recent experience in hospice home health or acutecare setting is preferred.
