In this role you willutilizepower and hand tools to assemble dock door seals and shelters according to customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Read work orders to determine customer specifications.
- Pull product materials from the inventory.
- Utilize hand tools and power equipment such as a skill saw drill nail gun hammer utility knife and various measuring tools.
- Cut construction materials such as 2 X 4s to the proper size.
- Secure foam filling and vinyl material around the frame of the shelter.
- Assemble the seal and shelter according to customer specifications.
- Inspect and ensure quality standardsof assembled units.
- Determine the most efficient methods of assembly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain or exceedproduction standards by delivering products according to customer timelines.
- Maintain inventory conduct cycle counting and notify of low raw materials
- Carry out duties by lifting heavy and bulky products stooping bending kneeling and climbing to assemble products.
- Operates company forklift and man lift after successful certification.
- Operate overhead cranes.
- Assist with other duties within the department when necessary.
- Work mandatory overtime as seasonal workload dictates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
