Position Summary: The senior development coordinator supports the mission and beliefs of the Foundation by working to enhance and support fundraising efforts through individualized advanced support of directors of development in specialized units. They offer support for the daytoday operations of the directors of development through a range of duties in administrative clerical and technical areas and serve as a resource for development coordinators. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide individualized support to each director of development
- Assist with the daytoday and monthly activities identified with the director of development and/or vice president of development to advance movement of prospect/donor through respective stages of the donor cycle may include but not limited to providing requested materials for prospect/donor visits and creating and/or proof reading correspondence for mailings and process as requested
- Collaborate with other departments internal and external to complete projects tasks and direct inquires and provide followup where needed
- Conduct bimonthly/monthly oneonone meetings with directors of development
- Provide large project assistance by scheduling and attending strategy meetings: track progress maintain momentum and coordinate needed reports and information
- Assist directors of development with assigned portfolios
- Utilize donor database (Salesforce Ascend) to confirm and/or enter actions and next step(s) and provide followup where needed
- Submit director of developments requests for research and moves management
- Assist in verifying status of prospects in portfolios
- In partnership with directors of development help formulate and implement strategies to build enduring relationships and steward donors
- General administrative support
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with Foundation staff campus partners and other individuals as requested
- Prepare review and submit appropriate paperwork for monthly expense report to reconcile each director of developments credit card statement
- Assist directors of development with meetings and travel plans as needed including transportation hotel and other accommodations
- Provide administrative support to the vice president of development as requested
- Assist with greeting visitors to the Foundation and responding to inquiries

- Provide back up support in absence of prospect management and development coordinators
- Provide support in onboarding and/or offboarding process for directors of development
- Provide onboarding and continuing training and support for development coordinators
- Oversee periodic review of development manuals (development coordinator manual director of development playbook etc. and related processes to update and maintain best practices policies and procedures
- Assist prospect management with reports and projects as needed and collaborate to clarify and update prospect management processes
- Other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of related experience and/or education in administrative support functions
- Exceptional customer services skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and possess excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications: - Associates degree or higher
- 5 years of related experience as an administrative professional
- Previous experience with CRM software such as Raisers Edge NXT or other similar system
- Previous experience in a higher education or nonprofit setting
Physical Demands: Constantly operates a computer/smartphone/tablet. Regularly required to maintain a stationary position move about the office determine what others have said or written critical thinking and converse with others and exchange accurate information. Regularly required to sit stand bend reach and move about the office and within the community. May also include occasional bending stooping squatting and/or pushing and pulling or moving objects. Occasionally required to move raise reach and/or retrieve binders books boxes and files up to ten 10 pounds.
