Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Lead HVAC Technician to oversee complex projects ensure highquality installations and provide expert troubleshooting. This role involves leading a team of technicians developing maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong leadership and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage largescale HVAC installations retrofits and service projects.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and schedules.
- Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues ensuring minimal downtime.
- Provide training mentorship and performance evaluations for junior technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations codes and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and clients to ensure project success.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all projects.
- Recommend system upgrades and energyefficient solutions to clients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 710 years in HVAC installation service and maintenance.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in HVAC/R preferred.
- Certifications: EPA 608 Certification (Universal) required; NATE certification preferred.
- Skills:
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing commercial and residential HVAC systems.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards building codes and safety regulations.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing commercial and residential HVAC systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs work in confined spaces and handle physically demanding tasks.
- License: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
