Job Description

GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJs relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand clients needs attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

We have partnered with a growing entertainment company in Duluth GA seeking an AP Accountant to join their team.

The main responsibilities of this role are processing invoices scheduling payments reconciling accounts and communicating with vendors to resolve any discrepancies.

Job Requirements:

Review invoices for proper authorization and general ledger account coding.

Enter invoices in the accounts payable module.

Enter ACH and wire payments in the accounts payable module.

Prepare accounts payable checks.

Print all accounts payable reports and maintain accurate accounts payable files.

Review and reconcile statements received from vendors.

Research vendor inquiries.

Clarify questionable invoice items prices or signatures; obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments.

Assist with other daytoday administrative and accounting duties.

Assist with special projects as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field is required

1 year of experience in accounts payable

Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable

$65000 $95000 a year
