Description
This role is versatile and includes diverse duties to support the organizations strategic initiatives and growth plan. The People Operations Generalist will work closely with the People Operations team to provide accurate data and timely communication with employees and leaders throughout the organization. The Generalist will serve as the internal first point of contact to provide customer service to our internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Handles employee intake calls and emails and provide timely responses and solutions
Maintains digitalfiles for employees and their documents.
Manages supportsand provides assistance to improve all People Operations related procedures
Leverages people analytics and reporting techniques
Supports recruiting efforts including sourcing preemployment and onboarding process for manager level new hires
Responds to labor department inquiries and verification of employment
Keeps informed and maintains compliance of developments in areas such as wages and salaries employee benefits general personnel practices and employment law
Supports and promotes employee diversity program initiatives
Works cross functionally with other departments to communicate needs share ideas and find solutions to improve the employee experience
Travels up to 15 to company and team meetings monthly training sessions and support new location start ups
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in HR or related field preferred in addition to 3 years Human Resources experience
SHRMCP or PHR/SPHR certifications strongly preferred but not required
Additional People Ops training is a plus
Advanced knowledge of MS Office HRIS systems
Proven experience as a good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Aptitude for problem solving
Capacity to apply discretion
Desire and dedication to work as a team and drive results to support business needs
Bilingual (EnglishSpanish Prefer)
Must be detail oriented have excellent communication skills both written and verbal a strong ability to prioritize and organize and have strong analytical decisionmaking skills
Must have a working knowledge of employment law and strong interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution and critical thinking
