Job Description
Clean Harborsin Fort McMurray ABis seeking a Laborer to join their safety conscious team onsite at Syncrude. They will be responsible for performing basic labor tasks (both indoors and outdoors) assisting operators chemists and other associates with pre/post trip inspections equipment maintenance/set up and general duties required to complete work such as debris removal clean up set up etc.
*Camp accommodation is available*
Shift Schedule: 12hour shifts 6am 6pm). 10 days on 10 days off schedule.

Responsibilities
- Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Using hand tools (shovel rake vacuum hose and pressure washers etc..
- Assist the operator with all job duties: Pre/Post Trip inspections; performing field level risk assessments; equipment set up; proper usage of equipment
- Complete basic equipment and tool maintenance including basic repairs
- Examine and repair as needed all equipment upon arrival at the branch office and identify them appropriately (requires R&M ready for shipment) as required
- Conduct yard inventory daily completion of the Shop Cleaning Checklist to ensure the shop always remains clean and tidy
- Perform general duties required to complete work such as debris removal clean up set up etc.
- Operate a variety of equipment such as forklifts.
- Complete general shop work including washing equipment and parts pickup and delivery.
Qualifications
- Class 5 Drivers License required.
- Forklift license required.
- Ability to work both day and night shifts.
- Experience assisting operators on vacuum trucks and/or heavy equipment highly preferred.
- Previous industrial/waste handling experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
