Preferred Care at Home of Coastal Volusia a nationwide senior care company is seeking qualified candidates in the Deltona Deland Orange City Debaryarea. We provide oneonone care for seniors in their home or wherever they call home to perform services that are needed.

Personal Care Responsibilities:

• Help clients with daily activities including but not limited to: bathing dressing serving meals helping clients eat turning clients and ambulating clients

• Examine clients for bruises or other injuries/wounds

• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers nurses doctors and family members

• Provide and empty bedpans

• Lift clients into beds wheelchairs exam tables etc.

• Clean and sanitize client areas including changing bed sheets

• Stay uptodate ontraining policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Completion of a stateapproved CNA or HHA certification training course

• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification or BLS (CPR and AED)

• HIV/AIDs course completion (HHA only)

• Level 2 background check on file or the ability to pass one

• Ability to think and work independently and with direction

• Good communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personality

Weekly schedule:

• Weekend availability(preferred)
• Rotating weekends
• Day shifts
• Night shifts
• Overnights
