Job Description

Chief People Officer (CPO) Opportunity

Location: Omaha or Lincoln with routine visit to each office and some travel to other location across the midest

Immediate Priorities

  1. Learn the business and develop key relationships

  2. Collaborate on new onboarding process implementation

  3. Define structure and responsibilities within Recruiting Function

  4. Prepare for potential M&A activities

  5. Enhance compensation process with analytics

  6. Invigorate Employee Resource Groups

  7. Utilize data analytics for business assessment

  8. Strengthen People Pillars program

  6. Employee Relations and Engagement

  7. Compensation and Benefits Strategy

Team Structure

  • Reports to President

  • Direct Reports: 5

    • 1 Director of Recruiting

    • 2 HR Generalists

    • 12 Recruiters

    • 1 Compensation Specialist (hired fall 2025

    • Training is part of Centers Of Excellence strong partnership

  • Partnership with People Pillars each department 9 has a People Pillar individual who has a full time department job but is also an extension of People being a voice on the ground and be the first line of communication

Location and Work Environment

  • Preferred locations: Lincoln Omaha or Wahoo Nebraska

  • Onsite with flexibility (core hours 812 on Fridays)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $230000 $260000 annually

  • Bonus potential: 20 estimated

  • Possibility of purchasing company stock after a couple of years
