As an Employee Relations Specialist at Mews you will play a pivotal role in ensuring every employee is treated with fairness and respect especially in difficult situations. You will be responsible for managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with local labor laws. You care about employee wellbeing and you are eager to get involved in projects to improve our employee experience. You will collaborate with People Business Partners who have local knowledge and work with the legal team to tackle complex employee relations cases and ensure compliance with local labor laws. Your mission should you choose to accept it:
- Employee Relations Case Management:Oversee and manage global individual employee cases ensuring timely and effective resolution. Provide support coaching and guidance to employees and managers throughout the process.
- Employee Health: Oversee longterm sickness cases in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies. Collaborate with occupational health providers to support employee wellbeing and workplace reintegration. Provide guidance and compassionate support to employees and managers throughout the process. Ensure compliance with local Health & Safety requirements.
- Policy Development and Implementation:Collaborate with People and legal teams to craft and update our policies. Ensure these policies are communicated effectively and embraced across Mews.
- Investigations and Resolutions:Lead thorough unbiased and impartial investigations into employee grievances alleged breaches of code of conduct and other type of company policy violations.
- Offer actionable recommendations and follow through to ensure resolution.
- Training and Development:Design and deliver engaging training programs on employee relations topics from conflict resolution to performance management and legal compliance. Enjoy the creativity and autonomy to build trainings based on the needs you identify.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyse employee relations trends and metrics. Provide insightful recommendations to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Global Compliance Oversight:Stay ahead of the curve with labor laws and regulations across multiple countries. Adapt swiftly to new legal landscapes and provide expert guidance on international employee relations issues.
Youll be a great fit if you bring the below with you:
- Employee Relations & Case Management Expert knowledge in at least in at least 2 European countries within a high volume fastpaced environment.
- Employee Health & Wellbeing Expertise in longterm sickness cases occupational health collaboration and Health & Safety compliance.
- Policy Development & Compliance Skilled in crafting updating and implementing policies with strong labor law knowledge.
- Investigations & Conflict Resolution Proven ability to conduct fair impartial investigations and drive resolution.
- Training & Development Experience designing and delivering training on conflict resolution performance management and compliance.
- Data Analysis & Insights Ability to analyse ER trends and provide datadriven recommendations.
- Global Experience & Adaptability Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate complex multicountry ER challenges.
Nice to have:
- You have relevant ER experience inGermanyand/or France.
- Experience dealing with some European works councils is helpful but not essential and experience handling longterm sickness cases (Netherlands) is helpful.
