Job Description:
L3Harris Space Superiority group has an opening for a Senior Specialist Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of qualified diverse individuals. This position will be in Rockwall TX. The individual will work in a fastpaced environment with high expectations significantly diverse assignments and a collaborative team setting.
This position will support the test effort for development of multiple groundbased mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Lead Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and subcontractors for the full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a pointofcontact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software performance meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations.
- Identify record document thoroughly and track bugs through to resolution.
- Collaborate with software developers to identify system requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements product design and potential problems.
- Analyze test results detect issues and track root causes in collaboration with the development team.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 69years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 46 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 1012 years of prior related experience.
- Active Secret or Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance.
- Experience with Python programming.
- Experience with Unix/Linux.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with automated system testing.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Agile & DevOps methodology and culture.
- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare and Systems Engineering.
