Core Responsibilities:
Coordinate supplier containment activities as directed by SQE:
- Find and route internal nonconforming/suspect material to SQA hold
- Ensure correct quantities are released to prevent impact to production lines
- Ensure correct quantities are routed to inspections
- Ensure certified material is ready for start of next shift
- Communicate sort results to suppliers
- Write sort instructions
Monitor shipping & receiving activities:
- Suspect material in transit (ensure routing to inspection)
- Expedited certified material
- Clean point shipments
- Material needing incoming inspection
- Monitor Shipping for outgoing returns to vendors
Supplier Quality inventory management
- Maintain SQA inventory trackers
- Communicate and track return material authorizations from vendors
- Manage material return to vendors
- Manage material s
- Maintain certified/decertified list status as directed by SQEs
Other Responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
- Audits for unreported supplier issues
- Audit for correct PPAP on file
- Audit for correct incoming checksheets
- Crosstraining to support Operational Quality as needed
