About the role
Thiess are seeking Diesel Fitters for thier QLD Sites Caval Ridge Lake Vermont QCoal Northern Hub Curragh North Peak Downs and Olive Downs Complex. Various rosters are on offer based on site location.
In these roles you will:
- Perform the servicing repair and maintenance of large scale mobile mining equipment including CAT Trucks and Dozers Graders and other ancillary equipment as directed in accordance with Thiess servicing lubrication and maintenance systems documentation
- Completing General Maintenance Breakdowns Services and Component changeouts to a high standard
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
- Conduct required inspection to maximise equipment utilisation
About you
To be successful in this role you are required to have:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Fitter
- Posttrade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
- Experience in General Maintenance Breakdowns Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
- Demonstrated experience with Liebherr and CAT Heavy Earth Moving Equipment is preferred.
