Status:Part Time Hourly FLSA classification:NonExempt
Summary of the Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a nontraditional way of providing intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in a variety of communitybased settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families. This is an hourly part time position.
- Provide individualized mental health interventions and support services in various community settings (e.g. in the home at school camps daycares etc.
- Implement specific treatment goals as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Monitor and document behaviors and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Flexible schedule based around the availability of youth and families served.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Services.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health services or Behavioral Health Certification Behavior Analysis Certification or Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
- Basic computer knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Reimbursement based on education and experience.
BiLingual /Spanish Speaking is a plus but not required.
Reliable transportation valid drivers license and current automobile insurance coverage is required. Mileage reimbursement available.
