Automation QA Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and executing both automated and performance test suites. They will be working on large applications to ensure the performance scale effectively and function accurately. This role combines responsibilities for both load and performance testing with functional test automation and continuous integration.
- Develop script and execute load stress and scalability tests using tools such as JMeter and K6.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing using tools like Selenium Playwright.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate new features and functionalities to ensure automation process are effective and uptodate.
- Maintain and update automation scripts as needed.
- Design automation frameworks and integrate performance tests into the automated tests.
- Collaborate with team members developers devops and IT to ensure seamless integration of testing and automation process and to measure stability and performance.
- Document test cases test scripts processes and results. Results should highlight metrics such as response time throughput and error rates.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members
- Estimate prioritize plan and coordinate performance tests.
- Identify gaps in performance and stability and work on the resolutions.

Skills required:
- Proficient in the performance testing tools like Jmeter and K6
- Excellent in scripting and coding languages like Java JavaScript
- Previous experience working with functional testing tools like Playwright Selenium
- Skilled in frameworks such as PRISM Webdriver IO
- Proficiency in using API tools like POSTMAN
- Proficient knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge on TestNG Mocha Chai Wdio POM Node.Js Babel
Experience:
5 to 7 years of experience in Automation and Performance Testing
Qualification:
Postsecondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
