About the role: We are looking for a Data Architect to join our team in the Banking sector being responsible for designing implementing and optimizing the organizations data infrastructure. You will ensure the availability reliability and security of data systems enabling informed decisionmaking across the organization.
Location & Work setup: The position is based in the Bucharest Office near Grozavesti metro station with a flexible hybrid way of working.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise data architecture frameworks to align with business goals
- Leverage expertise in relational and nonrelational databases (e.g. SQL Server MongoDB)
- Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies such as data lakes and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud)
- Establish and enforce data governance practices to maintain compliance with banking regulations (e.g. GDPR Basel III)
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive banking data
- Oversee data integration across systems including core banking platforms and CRMs
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines and support data warehousing solutions
What are we looking for:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related fields
- 5 years of experience in data architecture database design and data governance preferably within banking or financial services
- Proficiency in big data tools (e.g. Hadoop Spark) cloud environments and APIs
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
