Job Description
AMCOR Excavations is a civil earthworks company primarily contracted to construct lease pads and access roads within the gas sector.
Amcor Excavations are currently seeking an experiencedDiesel Fitter to join us for a major earthworks projects primarily in the Western Downs Area around Dalby Chinchilla Miles Wandoan and Surat.
- 7 days on 7 days off roster

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct the servicing maintenance and repairs on civil earthworks equipment including trucks dozers graders compactors rollers excavators and positracks.
- Work within Project rules and regulations at all times.
- Liaising with direct managers supervisors and managers daily.
- Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults.
- Work to tight schedules whilst maintaining the highest standards.
- Ensure quality and cost efficiency with all repairs and maintenance.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Current drivers licence (HR preferred but not essential).
- Fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
- Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions.
- Sound knowledge of drivetrain brakes and suspension.
- Basic auto electrical knowledge.
- Competent with computers and digital diagnostics.
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to getting the job done.
- Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety.
- A team player who is action focused and resultoriented who quickly comes up to speed on repairs and priority breakdowns.
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in working in a highperformance team.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Full working rights within Australia.
