The Service Scheduler is a liaison between all departments within Key and the Duravant operating companies including: Sales Finance Aftermarket and Field Service Technicians. As an integral role within our Service Team the Scheduler works directly with the customers to schedule field service appointments assign service orders to field service technicians and manage the overall service schedule for installations planned maintenance valueadded services and breakfix activities. A qualified candidate will be selfmotivated professional energetic positive and disciplined to be able to perform in various timesensitive scenarios.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain regular (daily) communication with Field Technicians and Field Service Managers to track the status of projects as well as schedule work assignments to optimize technician utilization
  • Maintain documentation of all service calls including assigned call center tickets
  • Communicate directly with customers via telephone and email to understand their needs; determine a solution; and schedule Field Technicians
  • Enter all necessary information into various planning tools/software and technicians calendars
  • Work closely with Field Service and Administration Managers to determine and assign priority levels to customers service requests; keep managers informed of relevant changes
  • Coordinate Field Technician trainees with experienced technicians at the direction of Training Manager
  • Ensure that technicians are not dispatched to customers who are on credit hold
  • Work closely with Finance to coordinate new customer credit applications
  • Responsible for ensuring all proper documentation is sent to technicians
  • Organize and attend meetings including: installation kick off schedule review
  • Ensure continuous communication regarding status updates with production to ensure proper scheduling for the installation
  • Provide formal cost estimates to external and internal customers for Key Sold Service work
  • Provide ongoing communication with customers and service technicians to ensure work is accurately estimated supplied to the technician and confirmed to all involved

POSITION SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
Must be highly organized selfdriven and professional operating with little supervision
Ability to adjust dynamically to changing priorities with a sense of urgency
Advanced computer skills including competency with Microsoft Suite ERP systems scheduling programs
Capacity to promote customer satisfaction solve problems and handle complex challenges
Commitment to teamwork and cooperation toward achieving common goals within a diverse team
Effective written and verbal communication skills

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience

  • Associates degree preferred and five years of manufacturing and/ or scheduling or logistics planning experience

Travel

  • Domestic and International travel may be required occasionally.

Certificates and Licenses

  • Must have a valid drivers license U.S Passport and maintain a good driving record.
