About this position
The Compliance Manager reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and provides day to day oversight and operation of the Compliance Program and Compliance team members. The Manager assists the Chief Compliance Officer with creating and implementing the annual Compliance Work Plan and Audit Plan.
The Compliance Managers role is critical to maintaining transparency in the Compliance Program and fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization. The Manager works closely with team members throughout the organization at all levels to identify compliance issues facilitate productive problemsolving discussions and effectively mitigate compliance risks.
Requirements
Education
Minimum of Associates degree in health care finance or other related field required.
Healthcare Compliance Certification (or willingness to pursue certification) preferred.
Experience
Six 6 or more years of experience in a healthcare compliance role required.
Three 3 or more years of leadership/management experience required.
Extensive knowledge of health care operations systems and processes.
Extensive knowledge of health care regulations and compliance program operations.
Ability to work with various individuals across the organization to facilitate change and build interdepartmental cooperation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
