Work Schedule: Six to eight hours per week. Weeks that include large visit events may require up to five additional hours. While most hours will fall from Monday Friday from 8 am 5 pm the ability to work a flexible schedule and some weekends is required.

Desired Length of Employment: The position is for one academic year (August 2025 May 2026 with the opportunity for renewal based on the employees interest and performance.

Pay Rate: $20

Job Description: Overall Responsibilities:
The Campus Living & Learning (CL&L) Graduate for Prospective Student Outreach with consultation of the Associate Director for Housing Administration is responsible for the implementation of CL&Ls inperson outreach to new students and families to maximize interest in Baylor and oncampus living. The position is for six 6 to eight 8 hours per week. Weeks that include large visit events may require up to five additional hours. The position is paid $20 per hour and includes a block meal plan for the fall and spring semesters.

Presentations:
Maintain an appealing and informative housing presentation that shares CL&Ls mission introduces its communities and housing offerings and walks prospective students and families through the housing application process. The presentation is reviewed and approved by CL&L.
Deliver the housing presentation to prospective students and families 3 5 times per week.
Present on behalf of CL&L at Admissions Visit Events including Premiere and Invitation to Excellence.
Schedule and train other CL&L staff to present when unavailable.

Housing Tours:
Provide a housing tour to prospective students and families 3 5 times per week.
Stage CL&Ls model rooms. Work in partnership with the Associate Director for Facilities & Operations Campus Visits and Housekeeping to maintain the setup and cleanliness of spaces.
Train BEARs (Campus Visits tour guides) for residence hall tours.
Coordinate personal housing tours for specially designated prospective students as directed by supervisor.

Admissions Events:
Represent CL&L at Admissions events including Premiere Academic Showcase Texas Counselor Day Invitation to Excellence Baylor Bound Days and other high visit days.
Setup and manage CL&L table at fairs and banquets alongside other Baylor departments.
Share housing information with prospective students and families.
Schedule and train CL&L staff to assist at Admissions events.

Meetings and Projects:
Meet weekly with the Associate Director for Housing Administration.
Assist with new projects and initiatives as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelors degree and admission/enrollment in a Baylor University graduate program are required.
Experience with Baylor University Housing.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in public speaking and presenting.
Demonstrated working knowledge of design platforms including Microsoft Office and Canva.
Ability to work with a flexible schedule to include some weekends.
