Job Description

Goddard Mason Executive Search a dedicated division of Quality Staffing is seeking an experienced and detailoriented Autobody Collision Repair Technician (pay rate up to $30/hour based on experience)and an Autobody Apprentice Technician (pay rate up to $17/hour based on experience). Both positions are Direct Hire opportunities! The ideal Autobody Repair Techniciancandidate will have extensive experience in automotive collision repair including bodywork dent removal frame straightening and refinishing. You will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their preaccident condition while ensuring highquality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal Autobody Collision Repair Apprentice Technician must be eager to develop handson experience in vehicle body repair and refinishing. Under the guidance of experienced technicians the apprentice will learn how to assess repair and restore vehicles to preaccident condition while adhering to industry safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

  • Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on vehicle bodies including dent removal panel replacement and frame straightening.
  • Remove repair and replace damaged parts such as bumpers fenders and doors.
  • Sand prime and prepare vehicle surfaces for painting or refinishing.
  • Use welding and bonding techniques to repair or replace panels and structural components.
  • Align and straighten vehicle frames using specialized equipment.
  • Work with insurance adjusters to ensure proper repair procedures and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements tools and repair techniques.
