Job Description
Austek Asphalt Services is seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Arundel Queensland as part of a long term contract of works.
In this fulltime role you will play a key part in the of our diverse range of Civil construction infrastructure projects contributing your expertise to ensure their successful delivery.
What youll be doing
- Overseeing the planning coordination and of Civil infrastructure projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Liaising with clients stakeholders and subcontractors to effectively manage project timelines resources and logistics
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks and implementing appropriate strategies to address them
- Providing technical guidance and support to project teams ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Continuously exploring ways to optimise processes and drive operational efficiency
- Collaborating with the wider business to contribute to the overall success of Austek Asphalt Services
What were looking for
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Project Engineering role preferably within the civil construction industry
- Strong technical expertise in civil construction works
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within budget
- Proven problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities with a focus on practical costeffective solutions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients contractors and team members
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety
