At HUB24 were building cuttingedge financial platforms that are set to transform how advisers work making quality financial advice more accessible and affordable for all Australians. As our new Senior Full Stack Developer youll be at the forefront of this exciting mission.
Youll dive into:
Crafting innovative applications used by thousands of advisers nationwide
Architecting robust microservices and scalable solutions
Tackling complex data challenges with our advanced caching data lake and pipeline systems
Developing gamechanging public and private APIs
Mentoring fellow engineers and driving technical excellence

This is a full time role based in our Melbourne CBD office.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable testable engineering solutions.
- Develop and maintain data assets & models including sourcing transformation and reporting.
- Foster a datadriven culture embedding best practices in architecture and governance.
- Validate integrations through proof of concepts with cloud onpremise and thirdparty services.
- Drive process improvements optimizing tools workflows and automation.
- Ensure compliance and security mitigating data risks and maintaining governance.
- Provide technical support including outofhours support as needed.
- Optimize caching strategies and data retrieval patterns.
- Build highperformance scalable solutions for concurrent requests.
- Finetune database queries to enhance system efficiency.
- Maintain developer documentation and coding best practices.
- Conduct peer code reviews and manage technical debt effectively.
- Ensure detailed system documentation for change management.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Guide technical strategy aligning with business goals.
- Mentor team members and champion Agile methodologies.
- Ensure teamwide adoption of development standards.
- Support system monitoring integrity and security.
- Maintain knowledge bases and resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Software or Data Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience as a Data or Software Engineer with a focus on designing and delivering highquality solutions
- Experience with data lake technologies (e.g. Databricks)
- Proficiency in data transformation (e.g. PySpark dbt)
- Handson experience with .NET Core (C# and Node.js (Nest.js is a plus)
- Knowledge of relational (SQL Server) and nonrelational databases (MongoDB is a plus)
- Exposure to cloudbased development (GCP experience is a bonus)
- Strong understanding of automated unit testing and best practices
