JOB# 614 Packaging
Hours: 4am Start 810 hour shifts) MF Occasional Sat as well
Pay: $18.00/hr. (After conversion per piece rate will be included)
Eligible for conversion after 30 days
Weekly pay
Unloading brick from kiln cars after the firing process and stacking them into a rotating jig to create a finished package of brick. The candidate for this position should be physically fit and be accustomed to strenuous manual labor. This position requires repeated bending twisting and lifting of up to 30lbs through the entire shift. Packaging up to 250000 quality brick per day. Must identify various shades of the same color. (i.e. different shades of red or gray) and have 20/20 vision.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous manual labor experience required
Production experience preferred.
Must have good vision
Ability to identify various shades of the same color is a must.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs
Must be able to obey audible warning signs
Must be able to work 810 hour shifts if needed
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be physically able to do the work and willing to do this type of work.
Must be able to bend and twist repeatedly; and stand all day.
Must pass preemployment drug screening as well as background check.
