Relationship Banker 1 Part Time Nacogdoches TX
SUMMARY:The Banker I position is responsible for conducting and processing various types of customer bank transactions while delivering the UBank experience. This includes providing prompt efficient and friendly customer service to customers while adhering to bank teller policy and procedure guidelines. This position also requires tellers to maintain a balanced cash drawer and become skilled in the ability to build customer relationship to identify products and services to meet the customers banking needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide a consistently superior customer experience handling customers transactional needs including but not limited to deposits withdrawals and payments while maintaining the cash drawer in balance.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfill and fulfill basic servicing requests.
- Work to create and establish relationships with customers remaining wellinformed about the customers relationship with the bank.
- Educate customers on standard consumer products emerging bank technology and digital solutions such as mobile online and ATM offerings to make their banking more convenient.
- Assists branch and fellow team members with achieving branch goals.
- Refer customers to partners when more complex financial goals and needs are recognized.
- Ensure safe and sound banking practices including adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: QUALIFICATIONS: - Prior experience with a community bank and cash handling preferred.
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite and various banking applications
- Excellent customer contact skills; comfortable asking questions/ interviewing customers about their financial situation; strong listening skills.
