Richmond School District operates 37 elementary schools 10 secondary schools alternate programs continuing education and a number of additional facilities. The district enrolls approximately 22000 students (K12 and employs over 3000 dedicated staff.
We currently have a parttime Temporary SLP available effective immediately to June 2025 or until teacher returns.
Job Description:
SpeechLanguage Pathologists are members of the Learning Services Department. In addition to being well organized and capable of working independently the successful applicant will possess the skills necessary to work as a collaborative team member at school and district levels. All positions within Learning Services engage in supporting the Districts Strategic Plan specifically Strategic Priority 1: Inspired Learners and Strategic Priority 2: Equity and Inclusion.
In the Richmond School District a speechlanguage pathologist provides support to students in both elementary and secondary schools and will be required to support students with communication challenges across a wide spectrum of needs. The ability to work comfortably and effectively in a dynamic and changing environment is essential.

The successful applicant will possess the qualifications necessary to become and maintain membership of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.
