The Opportunity

Join the NeuralSystems and Behaviour Lab www.monash/turnerinstitute/alexfornitolab as a Research Officer where you will undertake a wide range of tasks from recruiting and assessing participants to managing study databases and ensuring compliance with rigorous research protocols for studies involving technologies like MRI PET TMS and EEG. You may also collaborate closely with clinicians mental health care service consumers and fellow researchers fostering an environment of excellence in research services.

You will not only keep up to date with the latest developments but also actively contribute to our research community by preparing ethics and funding applications reports and other essential documentation. Your role in our lab is to help shape the future of research while ensuring compliance and safety.

To excel in this role you should have a tertiary qualification in Psychology or a related field substantial skills and experience or an equivalent combination of both. Proficiency in clinical and cognitive assessment is highly desirable as it supports the vital aspect of our research involving human participants. Your proficiency in project administration recruiting and assessing participants and experience in clinical interviewing and cognitive testing will make you an essential part of our team.
